BIG DAY and all in my pajamas!

Ethan had a very big day today. Get ready it was a very busy day....


The last week or so he has been eating more and more and not being satisfied after feedings, so the dr. gave us the go ahead to try some cereal. Just a couple of spoon fulls in the morning to see if it helps make him more content.
Hey....I don't go into the highchair after getting changed in the morning! Where is my bottle!

Ethan and I thought it would be a good idea to stay in our PJs all day since it was snowing...but I still had to shower...Ethan loves to lay on the rug in the bathroom floor while I am getting ready. I think he likes to hear the noise he makes when he kicks...



Then we went downstairs to play. Each day Ethan has been staying on tummy time longer and longer and moving more and more while he is on his tummy. Today HE ROLLED OVER FOR THE FIRST TIME FROM TUMMY TO HIS BACK! He was shocked when he landed on his back and wasn't sure what he just did. The pictures aren't that great cause I was fooling around on the camera and almost missed it but here is what I got!






Our last first for the day was brushing our teeth...or lets say gums. I found a soft toothbrush called the banana toothbrush and Ethan really likes to brush/chew with it!
Mommy is making me brush my teeth and I don't even have teeth!

New toy

Ethan likes to stand a lot during the day....so since he can't stand alone mommy ends up holding him upright most of the day. Thanks to his friend Reagan we now can play in the jumperoo to let mommy's arms rest for a little bit.

New blankie

Since Ethan likes to cuddle up with his burp clothes....I thought I would make him a blanket of his own. It was my first time sewing a satin border so it isn't perfect...but he will never know right!

Basketball!

Every year Bryan has friends over to watch college basketball. This year we couldn't watch it all day Friday like normal so we spend the day on Thursday instead....Ethan had more fun playing with his basketball hoop from Uncle Kyle and Uncle Kevin...thanks guys! He did have to wear his Minnesota gear though...

4 months old!

Ethan is now 4 months old. We had his check up the other day and he is 16lbs 12oz (75% for weight) and 26 inches (90% for height). He is growing out of his clothes fast. I swear he grows taller everyday! I think by the time he is in second grade he is going to be taller than mommy.

First Walk

Ethan and I took our first walk outside last week....it was so nice to get some fresh air!

Funny Little Guy

Ethan has been giggling out loud a lot lately. He has such a great time with Bryan or myself laying on our back and him standing on us...he loves to play peek-a-boo this way....he also puts everything in his mouth!

Ethan was so funny this morning....I think he was trying to be like a leprechaun! Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone and Happy Birthday Mike! We are also thinking of my Grandpa Younghans today as it was his birthday as well...he would have enjoyed laughing with Ethan so much!
