Back to work

I had to go back to work yesterday for the first time in 5 months. Lets just say I feel bad for everyone who asked how I was doing or how Ethan was cause I couldn't stop crying. Thanks to the girls at work for being so supportive, I couldn't have made it through the shift without you. I just love being with Ethan and it was so hard to leave knowing I would be gone for 8 hours....he was in good hands with daddy though and they had a good time! The good thing is now I am off for the next 2 weeks and then back to work for real.

Play date

On Tuesday we had some of Ethan's friends over. Becky came with Lauren and Elise. Sadie came with Noah. Lindsay came with Reagan. It was so fun watching all of them interact with each other. We will have to do it again very soon.
Lauren-2yrs, Reagan-1yr, Ethan-2months, Elise-3months, Noah-1month

The three babies....it is so fun to see the difference one month can make!

I am not sure what these two little boys are doing but I think they are already playing together. Ethan is so excited to have a friend close in age!

First hockey game

We took Ethan to his first hockey game. We went to watch Daniel (One of Mark's(from Pioneer Creek) boys). Mommy is hoping that Ethan likes hockey...not basketball like daddy.

Ethan cheering on Daniel with mommy and daddy...

Daniel is #10...there is just nothing cuter than little kids trying to skate around and play hockey...I think some of them skate better than me!

Fun pictures from the weekend

Ethan is smiling more and more each day...

I can't believe how fast he is growing out of his clothes...all of is 0-3 month pants and sleepers are getting too short for him. As you can see though the 3-6 month he still has to grow into...

Smiling while falling asleep

Ethan still hates getting in and out of the bath. He hates to be cold...just like his mommy!

Once he gets in though he likes to relax...

Ethan loves music just like daddy...

Looking at daddy playing some music...

Ethan is starting to have more control over his head and neck...he is enjoying tummy time more and more each day

E has also been falling objects now and is starting to like looking at mirrors

Stroller Strides

Ethan and I went with Lindsay, Reagan, Sadie, and Noah for Stoller Strides on Friday. It is a fitness program for moms with their babies. It was good to get out of the house and moving again after 3 months of bedrest and recovering after the c-section. Noah and Ethan slept most of the time and I think Reagan had more fun pushing Ethan before class started, although she did laugh at us moms a couple of times when we were doing some of our workout! I wished we could have gotten a better picture but a "mall cop" told us we couldn't take pictures in the mall.

Ethan is 2 months!

We took Ethan to the doctor yesterday for his 2 month checkup and his first round of shots. He is doing great and growing fast. He weighed 13 pounds 2 ounces and was 23.5 inches long. We have already have had to start packing away clothes that he is growing out of cause he is so long....he is going to be taller than mommy before we know it.

Basketball

We brought Ethan to his first basketball games to watch his cousins Jake and Jason play. Ethan was sleeping when we got there but it didn't take long after hearing the buzzer before he wanted to see all the action.

Ethan would get so excited when the action was close to him. The players and ball would be right in front of him and he would get so excited!

He even started to cheer for Jake and Jason! Yeah Basketball!

Fun with Ethan

Ethan is always full of smiles in the morning

I just love his little feet...

I just love his feet and how he kicks his legs so much

We had Ethan lay in his highchair for the first time while we ate dinner. Bryan thought he might like chicken better than his bottle.
